“Staff at computer factories could be at increased risk of contracting cancer because of working environments containing high levels of chemicals, metals and electromagnetic fields, according to a new study.”
“In what is the largest study of its kind, the findings focus on upwards of 30,000 deaths of members of staff at factories in the US since 1969.”

“It comes as government health inspectors have begun conducting a long-delayed follow-up inquiry into an Inverclyde factory at the centre of numerous cancer scares.”

“Scots scientists have criticised the “limited” second investigation into the National Semiconductor plant in Greenock, and say the new study helps “firm-up the picture” surrounding health risks.”

“The study by the Boston University School of Public Health in the US, published in the science journal Environmental Health, analysed the causes of death for 31,941 IBM workers and compared them with causes of death among the American population during this period. The information was obtained from IBM as part of a California lawsuit against the firm. The results of the study indicate there was increased mortality due to several types of cancer, especially in manufacturing workers and workers at particular plants in California, Minnesota, New York, and Vermont. Most notably, there was an excess of deaths due to cancer of the brain and central nervous system.”

“Richard Clapp, from Boston University School of Public Health, said: “It was not possible to link these deaths to specific chemicals or other exposures in the workplace because the information necessary to do this was not available.”

“The research appears to back up previous, smaller studies and highlights clear health risks for workers in computer factories. Among these was the Health and Safety Executive’s initial 2001 study of 4000 people at National Semiconductor, which showed statistically significant excesses of lung, stomach, and breast cancers among women and an excess of brain cancer among men, with some rates four or five times higher than average.”

“The HSE said it had received “ethical approval” to begin a new study at Greenock. Announced last June, and planning to look at various cases of cancer in more detail, it has been subject to significant delays. Professor Andrew Watterson, of Stirling University’s occupational, environmental and public health group, said: “The US study confirms some of the evidence we have seen at Nat Semi. The families of former Nat Semi workers have been calling for years for a Europe-wide or international study into the industry, and this is the next best thing.”

“Jim McCourt, of Phase Two, a support group for Nat Semi workers, said: “We’ve no doubt working in Nat Semi is dangerous. The scale of this study shows the industry has a real problem, and we would call on the HSE to initiate a UK-wide study.”

“OVERHEAD HIGH-VOLTAGE TRANSMISSION LINES”

“No dwelling or related property improvement may be located within the engineering (designed) fall distance of any pole, tower or support structure of a high-voltage transmission line, radio/TV transmission tower, microwave relay dish or tower or satellite dish (radio, TV cable, etc.).  For field analysis, the appraiser may use tower height as the fall distance.

For the purpose of this Handbook, a High-Voltage Electric Transmission Line is a power line that carries high voltage between a generating plant and a substation.  These lines are usually 60 Kilovolts (kV) and greater, and are considered hazardous.  Lines with capacity of 12-60 kV and above are considered high voltage for the purpose of this Handbook.  High voltage lines do not include local distribution and service lines.

Low voltage power lines are distribution lines that commonly supply power to housing developments and similar facilities.  These lines are usually 12 kV or less and are considered to be a minimum hazard.  These lines may not pass directly over any structure, including pools, on the property being insured by HUD.”

[There]..” is a website dedicated to a international community of people suffering adverse health effects from masts and antennas in the vicinity of their homes.

If you are a victim of mast radiation or strongly concerned about the issue, please write your story and share your thoughts on this website! Please click on “Tell your story” in the left hand menu and create an online case history file. You don’t need to register with this website to participate and no personal information will be recorded. You only give out as much information as you wish to.
You can also email your story to us at: story@mast-victims.org and we will put it online.

The purpose of this website is to bring together people from all over the world that have become victims of insensitive mast and antenna siting. Telecommunications companies are drowning us in radiation and they are in a state of complete denial on whether these masts and antennas have any negative health impact on the population. Credible scientific research shows that especially mobile phone mast radiation is harmful and people are suffering. Some people have even been forced to abandon their homes after becoming ill from radiation.

This has got to change. So far only few people have come forward against the telecommunication industry and those who have deserve to be known and heard.

http://www.mast-victims.org is built as a community where people living under the threat of masts and antennas can record their case histories and share their thoughts online.”

“Research by the National Power Laboratories in Wisconsin shows that the average electronic machines modems, computers, etc.) experiences 3,000 transient events every month. Roughly 15% of all server crashes are caused by electromagnetic interference problems. These glitches cost U.S. industry $26 billion and the projected growth of this problem is at about 15% a year. Transients cause problems such as software crashes, hardware damage, and data loss or corruption. They all disrupt operations and cause economic losses. Transients can also have negative effects on human health. The greater the speed and the smaller microprocessors become, this makes them vulnerable to radiated and/or induced electromagnetic fields.

The internal configuration of the modern microprocessor is so compact that it is much more usceptible to electrical disturbances. The best way to cancel out the effects of undesirable transmissions is to screen electronic components from such sources. Organizations and applications ost affected by such problems include but are not limited to… Internet service providers, corporate
computer rooms, telecommunication and computer networks, e-Commerce facilities, electronic testing labs, banks, stock markets, industrial machinery, air-traffic control rooms, and many others.”

Actually it’s either, or both. We are describing a set of hidden internal EM energy structures, the fundamental mechanism for internal EM structuring, and a tool.”

This was written regarding scalar energy. However, the principle is applied to everything here.

“A tool is amoral; it has no morality, and is inherently neither good or bad. The intent of the user of the tool, however, may be either good or bad. So the tool can always be used either way, for beneficial purposes or for evil purposes. It’s the hand that wields the knife that is moral or immoral; it is not the knife. The same cutting tool can be used by the surgeon to heal, or the murderer to kill. Human intent differentiates amorality into morality and immorality.”

Electromagnetic Frequencies can be healing or damaging. It is important to learn all we can about them, and use them wisely.Right now, the frequencies from cell towers can be damaging. Children, in particular, are being affected. Perhaps that is from ignorance of the effects. So research, learning and education are vitally important. As researchers and inventors get closer to the truth, closer to seeing the immutable laws of nature, and closer to their own innate sense of morality, we can find and the ways these energies can be used promote and maintain optimum health, expand consciousness and be the best of what we can be as homo spiritus.

“The greatness of human beings lies in our ability to do things which violate our instincts, to rise above the animal within. To use a term coined by the Chassidic Rebbe / Psychiatrist Abraham Twersky, MD, a human being is not merely “homo sapiens,” but “homo spiritus” – one capable of spiritual dominance over animal instinct.”

http://www.torah.org/learning/lifeline/5764/vayera.html

“David Hawkins in his latest book, I, uses the term Homo spiritus to describe the evolutionary shift in consciousness, which is now occurring. He writes, “The appearance in humanity of the realization of God as the ultimate Reality, substrate, and source of Existence and Creation marked the beginning of the emergence of a new, evolutionary branch of mankind called Homo spiritus. The term Homo spiritus refers to the awakened man who has bridged the evolutionary leap from physical to spiritual, from form to nonform, and from linear to nonlinear. The awakened man realizes that it is consciousness itself, which constitutes the core of the evolutionary tree in all its seemingly stratified and evermore complex expressions as the evolution of life. Thus, life transforms from the relatively unconscious linear to the fully conscious nonlinear, and Creation reveals itself to be the ongoing unfolding of the Unmanifest becoming Manifest. The capacity to reach the condition or state classically called Enlightenment represents the fulfillment of the potential of consciousness in its evolutionary progression.”

” The FCC does not have the resources or the personnel to routinely monitor the emissions for all the thousands of transmitters that are subject to FCC jurisdiction. However, the FCC does have measurement instrumentation for evaluating RF levels in areas that may be accessible to the public or to workers. If there is evidence for potential non-compliance with FCC exposure guidelines for a FCC-regulated facility, staff from the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology or the FCC Enforcement Bureau can conduct and investigation, and, if appropriate, perform actual measurements. Circumstances that could give rise to a concern about an facility’s conformance with FCC regulations can be found in in A Local Government Official’s Guide to Transmitting Antenna RF Emission Safety: Rules, Procedures, and Practical Guidance. This Guide can be accessed at: http://www.fcc.gov/oet/rfsafety. Potential exposure problems should be brought to the FCC’s attention by contacting the FCC RF Safety Program at: 202-418-2464 or by e-mail: rfsafety@fcc.gov.”

Electromagnetic fields Photos permitted by the National Radiological Protection Board, UK

“Electromagnetic fields of all frequencies represent one of the most common and fastest growing environmental influences, about which anxiety and speculation are spreading. All populations are now exposed to varying degrees of EMF, and the levels will continue to increase as technology advances.”

“As part of its Charter to protect public health and in response to public concern, the World Health Organization (WHO) established the International EMF Project in 1996 to assess the scientific evidence of possible health effects of EMF in the frequency range from 0 to 300 GHz.”
“The EMF Project is open to broad participation.”

“The EMF Project is open to any WHO Member State government, i.e. department of health, or representatives of other national institutions concerned with radiation protection. The project is fully funded by participating countries and agencies.”

Industry groups are fighting government regulation by formenting scientific uncertainty

“Few scientific challenges are more complex than understanding the health risks of a chemical or drug. Investigators cannot feed toxic compounds to people to see what doses cause cancer. Instead laboratory researchers rely on animal tests, and epidemiologists examine the human exposures that have already happened in the field. Both types of studies have many uncertainties, and scientists must extrapolate from the evidence to make causal inferences and recommend protective measures. Because absolute certainty is rarely an option, regulatory programs would not be effective if such proof were required. Government officials have to use the best available evidence to set limits for harmful chemicals and determine the safety of pharmaceuticals.”

“Uncertainty is an inherent problem of science, but manufactured uncertainty is another matter entirely. Over the past three decades, industry groups have frequently become involved in the investigative process when their interests are threatened. If, for example, studies show that a company is exposing its workers to dangerous levels of a certain chemical, the business typically responds by hiring its’. own researchers to cast doubt on the studies. Or if a pharmaceutical firm faces questions about the safety of one of its drugs, its executives trumpet company sponsored trials that show no significant health risks while ignoring or hiding other studies that are much less reassuring. The vilification of threatening research as “junk science” and the corresponding sanctification of industry-commissioned research as “sound science” has become nothing less than standard operating procedure in some parts of corporate America.”

“In 1969 an executive at Brown & Williamson, a cigarette maker now owned by R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, unwisely committed to paper the perfect slogan for his industry’s disinformation campaign: “Doubt is our product since it is the best means of competing with the ‘body of fact’ that exists in the mind of the general public.” In recent years, many other industries have eagerly adopted this strategy. Corporations have mounted campaigns to question studies documenting the adverse health effects of exposure to beryllium, lead, mercury, vinyl chloride, chromium, benzene, benzidine, nickel, and a long list of other toxic chemicals and medications. What is more, Congress and the administration of President George W. Bush have encouraged such tactics by making it easier for private groups to challenge government-funded research. Although in some cases, companies may be raising legitimate arguments, the overall result is disturbing: many corporations have successfully avoided expense and inconvenience by blocking and stalling much needed protections for public health.”

“The most basic fact about cell phones and cell towers is that they emit microwave radiation; so do Wi-Fi (wireless Internet) antennas, wireless computers, cordless (portable) phones and their base units, and all other wireless devices. If it’s a communication device and it’s not attached to the wall by a wire, it’s emitting radiation. Most Wi-Fi systems and some cordless phones operate at the exact same frequency as a microwave oven, while other devices use a different frequency. Wi-Fi is always on and always radiating. The base units of most cordless phones are always radiating, even when no one is using the phone. A cell phone that is on but not in use is also radiating. And, needless to say, cell towers are always radiating.”The Largest Biological Experiment Ever ARTHUR FIRSTENBERG / Sun Monthly 1jan2006

“Why is this a problem, you might ask? Scientists usually divide the electromagnetic spectrum into “ionizing” and “non-ionizing.” Ionizing radiation, which includes x-rays and atomic radiation, causes cancer. Non-ionizing radiation, which includes microwave radiation, is supposed to be safe. This distinction always reminded me of the propaganda in George Orwell’s Animal Farm: “Four legs good, two legs bad.” “Non-ionizing good, ionizing bad” is as little to be trusted.”

“An astronomer once quipped that if Neil Armstrong had taken a cell phone to the Moon in 1969, it would have appeared to be the third most powerful source of microwave radiation in the universe, next only to the Sun and the Milky Way. He was right. Life evolved with negligible levels of microwave radiation. An increasing number of scientists speculate that our own cells, in fact, use the microwave spectrum to communicate with one another, like children whispering in the dark, and that cell phones, like jackhammers, interfere with their signaling. In any case, it is a fact that we are all being bombarded, day in and day out, whether we use a cell phone or not, by an amount of microwave radiation that is some ten million times as strong as the average natural background. And it is also a fact that most of this radiation is due to technology that has been developed since the 1970s.”
