  Antenna Locations

Antennas are the actual signal emitters for cellular, paging and other radio services. Antennas can be placed on towers or be stand alone and placed on top of offices, condos, churches, light poles, signs, etc. Stand alone Antennas are small and difficult to spot as they are easily hidden/camouflaged.

What are the dangers of having cell phone towers placed in residential areas where all cables (telephone, etc.) are currently underground?

I have heard that electromagnetic waves may cause certain cancers.
I am a two-time survivor of cancer: breast cancer, 1998 and ovarian cancer, 2000. As a part of a cancer research program at University Of Southern Caliifornia, I was given this information.
Politicians in my area want to install cell phone towers in my neighborhood. I am interested and obviously concerned.
