“A Rhode Island school district has announced a pilot program to monitor student movements by means of radio frequency identification (RFID) chips implanted in their schoolbags”…. has launched a pilot program to implant … chips into the schoolbags of 80 children … Each chip would be programmed with a student identification number, and would be read by an external device installed in one of two school buses. The buses would also be fitted with global positioning system (GPS) devices.”
“Parents or school officials could log onto a school web site to see whether and when specific children had entered or exited which bus, and to look up the bus’s current location as provided by the GPS device”….criticized the plan as an invasion of children’s privacy and a potential risk to their safety.”
“There’s absolutely no need to be tagging children,” …the school district should already know where its students are….[This program is] a solution in search of a problem”…The school district says that its current plan is no different than other programs already in place for parents to monitor their children’s school experience. For example, parents can already check on their children’s attendance records and what they have for lunch”…”The school is perfectly entitled to track its buses, he said, but “it’s a quantitative leap to monitor children themselves.” He raised the question of whether unauthorized individuals could use easily available ….readers to find out students’ private information and monitor their movements…Because the pilot program is being provided to the school district at no cost, it did not require approval from the … ethics commission.

This is a little bit off topic, but so many people use these therapies to counteract EMF’s, it seemed important to share what was sent….there are three days left to write to Congress.
“… just spent three days reading, re-reading, researching and discussing the proposed FDA guidelines for “Complementary and Alternative Medicine” with two FDA attorneys. You can download a copy of this proposal for yourself at: http://www.fda.gov/ohrms/dockets/dockets/06d0480/06d0480.htm.
” this FDA attack on complementary and alternative health care, …considered it another “Chicken Little” rumor. On further study, I’m appalled at the speed with which the pharmaceutical companies are implementing Codex Alimentarius in the USA. If you don’t suspect the pharmaceutical companies control the FDA, you may want to research that further by visiting http://www.HealthFreedomUSA.org.
”This insidious proposal is designed to redefine every complementary and alternative health care modality and product as “medicine.” This has direct implications on the services and products provided by every alternative health care professional. There is no facet of complementary and alternative health care that is not affected. If the FDA adopts this proposal, all natural health care would be illegal even for medical doctors.”
”Essential oils, herbs, herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies, minerals, nutritional supplements, plant enzymes and vitamins are redefined in this proposal as “medicine.” Very simply, medicine is under the jurisdiction of the FDA and, by law, only licensed medical doctors may prescribe “medicines.” Anybody else who advises, advocates, counsels, distributes, markets, recommends or suggests anybody use “medicine” is practicing medicine without a license. This is a felony in the USA punishable by fines and incarceration.”
”Aromatherapy, auricular therapy, biofeedback, color therapy, homeopathy, hypnotism, naturopathy, neurotherapy, nutritional consulting, reflexology, sound therapy and wellness consulting are among the alternative health modalities being redefined as “Alternative Medicine.” This subtle change of vocabulary from “alternative health care” to “alternative medicine” makes all of these industries subject to control by the FDA as medicine. Only medical doctors would be allowed to provide, prescribe and supervise the delivery of these services. Anybody else who provided any of these services would be practicing medicine without a license and subject to incarceration and fines.”
”That’s the bad news. The good news is we have until April 30, 2007 to voice our opinion against this proposal to eliminate complementary and alternative health care in America. Almost 100,000 people have already filed their objection….”
”Please stand up and be counted. Go to http://tinyurl.com/2u7ghc and file your petition in support of natural health care, in support of complementary and alternative health care as we know it today. If you require more information, please visit http://www.HealthFreedomUSA.org or read the FDA proposed policy.”

|“The issue of metallic taste and head sensations is widely documented and reported among people living near mobile communications masts. Metal chelation is obviously at issue here, so this is potentially more than just an inconvenience….there can be strong correlation between reported symptoms such as these and the installation and operation of masts.”….with so many people suffering from mobile transmitters, they will not be taken seriously….Common sense reading of existing research suggests that the dielectric conditions of a mouth containing mixed-ph aqueous solutions and mixed metals, will create normal electro-chemical responses and forces.”[!!!]“Further, there is strong research evidence of how specific biochemistry is affected by chronic low-level radiation….There is a simple test: remove the source for sufficient duration.”
“Supposing you could persuade your operator to do so (pigs might fly). First, done in a “blind test” way this would be considered to be a live-subject experiment with potential harmful effects, so the ethics committee would have to be involved and all those in proximity advised and their permission sought. (Ironic, given the circumstances.) But only removal-without-knowing would provide the results needed — and then it would still not be “proof”.”
“If you can, the alternative is to attenuate the signals by shielding and see if that makes a difference. If it does, forget the proof and enjoy the relief, because no-one is ever going to want to believe you anyway….those who suffer from mast radiation experience intense frustration by not being believed. Those who don’t, can’t understand why what people say is more important than lab study results, despite the poor understanding of what is going on. Above all of them is a political and corporate need to perpetuate the myth that there are no biological responses leading to adverse health effects. Can you imagine masts being removed because they hurt people? That would be an admission too far with wide-reaching consequences.”
Computer Monitors Affect the Nervous System October 1, 2006Posted by healthyself in 100 Hz, 60 Hz, 85 Hz, Attention, Biological Effects, Blogroll, Brain, Cell phone safety, Central Nervous System, Electrical Components, Electrical Pulses, Electrical Surges, Electromagetic pollution, Electromagnetic Communications, Electromagnetic Interference, Electromagnetic waves, Electrosensitivity, Electrosmog, ELF, EMF Research, Environment, Exposure, Fatigue, Frequencies, Health related, HOuseholds, Hz, Inner Agitation, Lifestyle, Light, light beam, Long Term Health Risks, Men's Health, Microwave exposure, Optical, Pulsed Radiation, Pulses, radiation, Research Needed, Short-sightedness, teeth grinding, Women's Health, Workplace, yawning.
CRT Users Beware!
“Many people are still using CRT monitors set at 60 Hz or 85 Hz around the world….What they don’t realise is that these refresh levels have side-effects of inducing tiredness, yawning, short-sightedness and the most destructive of which is tooth grinding at night. Unstable images on a CRT can induce tooth grinding subsconciously at night, since an unstable flashing image is disturbing to the brain’s nervous system.”
“Tooth griding permanently destroys your teeth and you can’t get back lost enamel tissue. Restoration of damaged teeth is extremely expensive, more than your monitor and your damaged teeth will have an effect on your health, as teeth is the major organ of healthy digestion. Digestion begins in the mouth as the proper breakdown of food. If you can’t digest your food properly, then you will not last long on this Earth.”
“New CRT TVs (not monitors) are widely advertised at being 100 Hz.”
“Why we are still stuck at a so-called safety standard of 85 Hz, which still induces the CRT side-effects as mentioned above is amazing….The bottom line is to see if you can set your CRT to at least 100 Hz and take to regular breaks from the screen….Breaks are important for LCD users as well, since human eyes were not designed to stare and focus at a light source for a long time.”
