Cell Phone Guns Discovered

L O N D O N, Dec. 6 At first sight it looks like a regular cell phone same size, same shape, same overall appearance. But beneath the digital face lies a .22-caliber pistol a phone gun capable of firing four rounds in quick succession with a touch of the otherwise standard keypad. European law enforcement officials stunned by the discovery of these deadly decoys say phone guns are changing the rules of engagement in Europe.
"We find it very, very alarming," says Wolfgang Dicke of the German Police union. "It means police will have to draw their weapons whenever a person being checked reaches for their mobile phone."
Comments: True. As first reported in an ABC News article dated December 6, 2000 (from which the above text was clearly taken) and later by Time magazine, .22 caliber guns disguised as cell phones have been confiscated from smugglers in western Europe on more than one occasion in the past several years.
The guns, which are capable of firing four rounds in quick succession, are believed to have been manufactured in Yugoslavia or Croatia. The “antennae” of the gutted phones function as gun barrels and numbers 5 through 8 on the keypad as triggers.
The images at right, which show a cell phone gun being fired and disassembled to show the bullet chamber, are from a short video demonstration circulating as an attachment to the above email message. It appears to be authentic.
Security experts say the cell phone guns, as well as other “improvised explosive devices,” can be detected by screening equipment now in use at airports internationally. Though they have been the subject of security alerts in the U.S. as recently as December 2003, none have yet been sighted in North America.”
Read this before you view the video! Most see airport security as a pain. Some deal better than others. Some feel violated, when you watch this movie, you'll understand why they want your cell phone through the x-ray machine. Read this and then watch the video clip. If you get asked to test your cell phone at the airport, this is the reason. Cell phone guns
have arrived. They are real.
The attached video clip shows how cell phone guns operate. These phones are not in the U.S. yet, but they are in use overseas. Beneath the digital phone face is a .22 caliber handgun capable of firing four rounds in rapid succession using the standard telephone keypad. European law enforcement officials are stunned by the discovery of these deadly decoys. They say phone guns are changing the rules of engagement in Europe. "Only when you have one in your hand do you realize that they are heavier than a regular cell phone." Be patient if security asks to look at your cell phone or turn it on to show that it works." They have a good reason! Welcome to our NEW WORLD!!"

What are the Possible Effects of EMF’s on Pregnant Women? “Miscarriages and Computers- Kaiser Permanente study determined that women who worked more than 20 hours a week with VDU’s miscarried at a rate 80% higher than women who did the same work without VDU’s.”
“VDU’s and Fetuses- Animal studies in Sweden have found that EMF similar to that emitted by VDU’s caused malformation in fetuses.”
“Miscarriages Among Female Physical Therapists Who Report using Radio and Microwave-Frequency Radiation- Johns Hopkins University researchers report that physical therapists who are exposed to microwave (but not short-wave) diathermy units while pregnant, have an increased risk of miscarriage.”
“Occupation and Pregnancy Outcome- Low birth weight was associated with woman who operated electrical equipment as their occupation.”
“Perinatal Depression- Women who lived within 100 meters of power lines at 132kV and above experience a statistically higher incident of perinatal depression. Study was done in England using 11,292 women.”
“EMF and Sex-Distribution of Offspring- Children born near a high voltage power station in Baghdad were 87% girls, and 13% boys. Author suggests high female percentages might also be related to the same percentages seen in offspring of lymphoma patients. Speculations are that EMF exposure interferes with calcium and this in turn affects the Y- bearing sperm (male) more than the x-bearing sperm motility. Association Between Childhood Cancer and Magnetic Fields from Ground Current Sources- University of North Carolina researchers concluded the risk of cancer is increased among persons with increased magnetic field exposures from residential ground currents (the currents flow through plumbing lines into the home from grounding conductors off power poles).”
